The Carousel Dinner Theatre will be holding it's open local auditions =
for it's upcoming production of Rodger's and Hammerstein's "Carousel" on =
Saturday July 12 2003.  The auditions will be held at our rehearsal hall =
in Canal Place, Downtown Akron Ohio.=20

Carousel Dinner Theatre is seeking Male and Female Singers who dance =
well and strong Character Actors (all vocal types and ranges) who sing =
and move well.

Especially seeking child Actors, ages ranging from 4-12 years old, =
height 5' or shorter.

Come prepared with memorized song and music for our accompanist and be =
prepared to dance.

Carousel rehearses Aug 25 2003, opens Sept 3 2003 and runs through Nov =
2, 2003.  Performers must be available for day and evening rehearsals, =
matinees (generally on Wend and Sat) and holiday rehearsals and =
performances.

All performers should arrive promptly at 12:00pm

Also accepting resumes for properties artisan, stage crew, stitchers, =
painters and carpenters.  Those interested in backstage positions or =
unable to attend this audition should send letter and resume, along with =
a video if you are a performer, to Karen Starr c/o Carousel Dinner =
Theatre.  Those interested in backstage positions need not attend =
auditions.

All talented performers are encouraged to attend.  All positions paid.  =
