FILM BUDGETING WORKSHOP

As an ongoing pledge to bring enlightening films and educational
filmmaking classes to Northeast Ohio, Independent Pictures (IP)
presents the Film Budgeting Workshop.
Instructor and Directors Guild of America member, Norman C. Burns,
will go over how to budget for film and video productions and why
budgeting is so important. Filmmaking may be an expensive endeavor,
but this class doesn't have to be at $5 for admission and free for
all IP members.
The class runs Monday, July 14 from 6PM to 8:30 PM at the Gordon
Square Arcade Conference Room, 6516 Detroit Avenue. Please RSVP with
the IP office at (216) 651-7315 by Friday, July 11, 2003.
Norman C. Burns is a former advertising executive and Emmy-winning
filmmaker. His film career ranges from documentaries to commercials
to features. Norman is currently Senior Creative Director for Set
Management, which markets ProductionPro Budget the essential film
budgeting software. He has taught budgeting classes in New York for
both The Directors Guild and Media Services.
The Film Budgeting Workshop is sponsored by Independent Pictures, Set
Management, and local production studio Media Design Imaging.
