Sparx in the City is seeking volunteers for a Friday, July 18 event,
"The Streets Are The Stage."
The Streets Are The Stage is a performance extravaganza taking place on the
sidewalks of downtown Cleveland during lunch hour and dinner hour. Included
in the festivities will be urban dance troupes, musicians, theatrical
performances, stilt walkers, and local restaurants selling fire-themed
foods. The Streets Are the Stage is one component of Sparx in the City,
OLE_LINK1which is a series of monthly events created to highlight the
talents of Northeast Ohio's creative professionals as a tool for igniting
economic vibrancy downtown.
Volunteers are needed to help out during one (or both!) of two shifts for
the event. The first shift is from 11am-2pm and the second shift is from
5-8pm. Volunteer tasks include manning Sparx info booths and acting as a
liaison for performing artists - basically just making sure they are
performing when and where they are supposed to. If you are willing to
