Two New Conservatory Programs

The Beck Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the creation of the
Beck Conservatory of Theater and the Beck Conservatory of Music.  Two
brand new programs from an organization that has been dedicated to
enriching the quality of life for northeastern Ohioans for almost 75
years. =20
Beginning in September the Beck Center for the Arts will broaden its
unique role as a community resource for arts education and embark on a
exclusive and intensive course of study.  The Beck Center has long been
committed to offering comprehensive, curriculum-based programs in the
areas of dance, music, theater and visual arts in a stimulating
environment.  In keeping with that tradition, the Beck Conservatory,
both in theater and music, will offer an opportunity for exceptional
music and theater students to increase their level of education and
prepare them for acceptance to the finest colleges and universities in
the country. =20
The Conservatories are open, by audition only, to students entering
grades 9 - 12.  Audition and registration information, course work and
performance requirements will be discussed at two Informational Forums,
which have been scheduled for interested parents.  Attendance to an
Informational Forum is not a requirement.
The Informational Forums for parents will be held on the following
days/times:
*	The Beck Conservatory of Theater
-         Wednesday, July 23 at 7:30 p.m.
-         Saturday, July 26 at 3:30 p.m.
*	The Beck Conservatory of Music
-         Wednesday, July 23 at 6:30 p.m.
-         Saturday, July 26 at 2:30 p.m.

-         All:                  Resume; headshot or recent photo; be
