<DIV align=left><FONT size=3>"The Doe", an avant garde piece, examines the relationship between two life-long friends, Karyn and Tomlyn, as one suddenly leaves the friendship for a charismatic influential man who changes the dynamics between the two women.   A subplot involves an Asian American college friend  of Tomlyn who is struggling with her identity in American society.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV align=left><FONT size=3>About the author:  Elise Geither is a published poet and playwright.  Most recently, her work has been featured in two anthologies, "2003 Anthology of Poetry by Women on Motherhood" and "Adoptive Family Magazine".   Her plays have been performed by "La Mia Ink" in New York City, and by "First Stage" in Los Angeles.   Her work has also been featured in "Artful Dodger".  </FONT></DIV>
