There has been so much confusion over our audition dates, (the P.D. just couldn't seem to get it right and our first post here was also wrong), so......

Here is the definite, positive, last word on  QUILTERS  at Chagrin Valley Little Theatre.

will hold auditions tonight, Monday, August 11 and tomorrow, Tuesday, August 12 at 7:00pm

Directed by Lenne Snively, Musical Direction by John Krol

We are looking for 7 talented women between the ages of 20 and 60 who can act, sing and move.
There are NO ENSEMBLE parts.  Every part is a principle role. Every woman will have her moment to shine.

QUILTERS is a show about life on the American prairie told by a mother and her six daughters.  It is a fantastic opportunity for female performers.  

All auditionees will be asked to read from the script and from some additional material.  No improv involved.  

Please prepare one song, accompanist provided.  If you can sing something in a "country/folk" style that would be great.

You will be asked to move...notice we didn't say "dance".  We are looking for women who can do simple, folk dance steps without falling down. Trained dancers and civilians welcome!

Rehearsals will start August 25.  QUILTERS opens on October 3 and plays Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through November 1.

This is going to be a fun show to create.  Please, come and be a part of  QUILTERS.
