There is a great opportunity coming up to get involved with the arts
community in Cleveland.  Arts ambassadors are needed on a volunteer basis
for the upcoming Sparx in the City event, "Urban Gallery Hop."  This event
will take place on September 19-20 and arts ambassadors are needed from
4-10pm on Friday, 9/19 and 10am-4:30pm on Saturday, 9/20.

"Urban Gallery Hop," the fourth monthly event of Sparx in the City, will
connect hundreds of citizens to over 25 galleries and arts hot spots in the
urban core of Cleveland.  Three Lolly the Trolleys will transport
Clevelanders from the ARTcade at E. 4th St. and Euclid Avenue to various
exhibits in the Detroit Shoreway area, Ohio City/Tremont, The Warehouse
District, The Gateway District, The Theater District and Midtown.  Outside
their establishments, many galleries will host musical and dancing
performers, while inside they will feature a wide array of art that's unique
to Cleveland.  In addition, culinary arts from area restaurants will be
prominently presented in each gallery, encouraging citizens to experience
the diverse cuisine offered at many downtown restaurants nearby. 

Arts ambassadors will be stationed at each trolley stop and will guide
gallery visitors to the various galleries involved in the event and let them
know why Cleveland is such a great place for the arts! Ambassadors must be
outgoing, personable and willing to have a good time. If you are interested
