The Cleveland Institute of Music is hiring the following technicians 
and artisans for a November production of The Marriage of Figaro.


1. Prop master/artisan, START IMMEDIATELY, pay negotiable
Good organizational and communication skills. Ability to work with 
students with a variety of skill levels. Props will be pulled from 
stock, built, rented from area theaters, or purchased. Light 
carpentry and work with soft goods may be needed. Report to set 
designer.
Rehearsal props are needed immediately; final props by October 22. 
Tech starts November 7; production opens November 12.

2. Two general technicians, OCTOBER 29 THROUGH NOVEMBER 16, fee paid 
commensurate with skills and availability
Hours will vary depending on load-in and strike schedule. Report to 
TD. Ability to work with student crew. Carpentry and electrics skills 
helpful.

3. Master electrician, OCTOBER 29 THROUGH NOVEMBER 16, fee paid 
commensurate with skills and availability
Hours will vary depending on load-in, rehearsal, run, and strike 
schedule. Responsible for all electrics: load-in, hang, circuit, 
focus. Report to lighting designer. Collaborate on schedule with TD. 
Work with student crew with a variety of skill level. Operate board 
during production run (4 to 5 performances).
