Subject Lines that will get you the best results...
The feedback I have received from subscribers is that many people delete
messages without opening them when the subject line is not descriptive enough.

To get the most number of people opening your message and to get the best
results ALWAYS include the producing organization AND event in your subject line:

Producing Organization (Beck Center, Fine Arts at Willoughby, Great Lakes
Theatre Festival, Cleveland Opera, Cain Park, Dobama Theatre, etc.)

Event (I.E. -- Auditions for "Les Miserables," "Miss Saigon" opening
at.... , "Puttin' on the Ritz" benefit at.... , etc.)

Examples of good subject lines...
Auditions for Miss Saigon at Beck Center
1/2 price tickets to neohiopal - Cuyahoga Players present Sondheim's "Pacific
Overtures"
Auditions -- "Medea" at Lake Erie Theatre
Euclid Theatre spring drama classes for ages 7-14
PD Review of Bay Village Player's "The Crucible"

Frequency of posting...
At the most, you should post your message once a week. Deluging the
subscribers with repeat postings doesn't get your message across. In fact it can have
quite the opposite effect
. You have to trust that if they are interested they will put your event on
their calendar and show up. IE - Tom Fulton only posted his auditions for The
Seagull at Beck once, with a correction later in the day, and he had somewhere
between 125 and 150 people audition. You know what they say, sometimes 'less
is more' :-)

I recommend you all read over the NEohioPAL -- Frequently Asked Questions as
well.

Thanks,
