inter-generational plays focusing particularly on elders in American =
life. The five plays: =20
Hot Methuselah, Putting Pippy Away, Two Mens=92es Daughter, =
S=92posed-to-be Daddy, Shacking Up Grey, are connected around the mercy =
seat and reconciliation. The =93mercy seat=94 refers to an actual chair =
in some Pentecostal churches, and to that moment when people come to the =
