From: Windsong: Cleveland's Feminist ChorusSharon Marrell, Artistic Director  CALL FOR WOMEN SINGERS Windsong has been in existence since 1979 and received non-profit status in 2001.  They are an organization of women dedicated to promoting and creating change in the community through the performance of music that is women-supportive, representative of diversity, and socially and environmentally responsible.  
They are a smaller chorus that performs 2 formal concert per year and some special events throughout the year. They are a diverse group of women who have a lot of fun singing together while enjoying a wide variety of musical styles. Their ages range from 20's-60's. This year Windsong will be performing the oratorio "Where I Live" by Diane Benjamin. It is about breast cancer survival and the concert's net proceeds are to benefit Cleveland area breast cancer organizations. As of 9/21 Windsong will be rehearsing at St. Albons in Cleveland Hts from 4-6:15pm each Sunday.
