Travel Around the World with "The Amazing Race!"

Cleveland, OH - September 24, 2003 - Want to see the world? Why not become
part of the CBS television phenomenon that is a world-wide adventure--try
out for "The Amazing Race 5!"

If you think you have what it takes to be part of "The Amazing Race,"
Cleveland's CBS 19 is holding an open casting call on Thursday, October 2nd,
from Noon to 4pm, at Howl at the Moon in the Powerhouse at Nautica, on the
West Bank of the Flats.  All you need to bring is your teammate
(*contestants MUST try out in pairs*), your completed application, available
at www.cbs.com  two photos and photocopies of two forms of ID, and we'll
provide the camera and photographer to videotape your two-minute pitch on
why you and your teammate belong on "The Amazing Race!"  The casting call
will even take care of mailing your completed application package to CBS
casting.

		WHERE:  Howl at the Moon, in the Powerhouse at Nautica - on
the West Bank of the Flats
DATE:  Thursday, October 2, 2003
TIME:   Noon-4pm

Millions of viewers will watch as teams of two people, each with a
pre-existing relationship, race around the world in "The Amazing Race."
Never knowing where they'll go next or what they'll have to do once there,
these teams and their relationships will be put to the ultimate test as
they'll have to work together to stay ahead of the rest. One by one, teams
will be eliminated, and in the end the first remaining team to cross the
finish line will win a cool million dollars!

"The Amazing Race" recently won the 2003 Emmy Award for best
reality/competition show.  So, now's your chance to be a part of an Emmy
Award-winning reality TV show!  For those who can't make Thursday's casting
call, the deadline for applications at CBS is October 8, 2003. Log on to
www.cbs.com  for further details on casting for "The Amazing Race."
