Join us for these October Events --

A STORM LIKE YOU'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE -- The story of the 1913 Great
Lakes storm will commemorate the 90th anniversary of this terrible gale
and is being produced in conjunction with the Steamship W.G. Mather. 
Bette Lou Higgins will tell the story on October 22, 2003 at 6:30p.m. 
at the  Canalway Visitor Center; 4524 E. 49th St.; Cuyahoga Hts. For

the Visitor Center, call 216-206-1000. This program is FREE and open to
the public

OHIO GHOST STORIES --   There are plenty of ghosts in Ohio's closets! 
Find out about some of them at the Brooklyn Public Library, 4480 Ridge
Rd.; Brooklyn; 216-398-4600 on October 29, 2003 at 7p.m.; the Fairport
Harbor Historical Society; 129 Second St.; Fairport Harbor; (440)
358-4825 on October 30, 2003 at 7:30p.m.;   These performances are FREE
and open to the public.  A dinner theatre performance will be presented
at Rider's Inn in Painesville on October 21, 2003 at 6:30p.m. by the
