The GLTG announces auditions for “It’s a Wonderful Life”

The Geauga Lyric Theater Guild announces auditions for the holiday musical
to play at the Geauga Theater, “It’s A Wonderful Life”.  Based on the film
by Frank Capra, with book & lyrics by James Rodgers and music by John
Higgins, the GLTG is pleased to be presenting this show through special
arrangement with Dramatic Publishing.  Karen Porter shall direct this show
with musical direction by Bill Rayer.  The setting is Christmas Eve, 1945.
It is the story of an average man who leads an average life….or does he?  A
“wonderful” show to be a part of this season!

Show dates are December 5,6,712,*13,1419,20,21.  There will be two showings
on the 13th. Auditions shall be held Sunday, October 12 and Monday, October
13th from 6:00-7:00pm for children 12 and under, and from 7:00-9:00pm for
teens and adults on both nights.  All auditions are held at Geauga Theater.
Please come prepared with one up-tempo song; an accompanist will be
provided.  Actors will be asked to read from the script as well.
