You knew it was coming, people. The bad pun subject line for the final
weekend of the sweet comedy, WAIT! I had to. I just had to.

This is the last weekend. Catch it if you can. The critics did. See what
they had to say about it, below. Also, check out information at the bottom
of this email regarding the world premiere of DISCORDIA and the special
performance celebration with Community Shares on October 18.

especially for a girl with one eye on her alcoholic father and the other on

World Premiere!
DISCORDIA
A futuristic musical comedy set in the Dark Ages about war, death and lower
taxes.

Camelot goes conservative. King Arthur rules the Malls. An all-out media
blitz over the Holy Grail. Welcome to the Dark Ages! In the first featured
production of its 20th anniversary season, Cleveland Public Theatre causes
Discordia.

CPT presents the world premiere musical comedy, Discordia, October 17 -
November 8, 2003 in the Gordon Square Theatre. The innocent Percival wants
to become a knight of the Round Table and do good in a confusing world. His
quest: the Holy Grail, which can heal the sick, restore the land and give
hope. But others want to use the Grail for themselves: greedy Barons,
warlike Knights, King Arthur and his handlers. Whom does the Grail serve?

Recipients of a 2002 Ohio Arts Council Individual Fellowship Award,
co-writers James Levin and Linda Eisenstein are taking a gimlet-eyed look at
our contemporary landscape. Discordia tells the story of the innocent,
young Percival (Perren Hedderson), as he searches for the Holy Grail, trying
to do good in dangerous, confusing times. The shape-shifting Morgan Le Fay
(Alison Hernan) offers an acerbic outsider perspective, as she watches our
hero roam an Arthurian land that is strangely familiar - a nation beating
war drums, with greedy barons in control of the money and power. Resident
Director Raymond Bobgan (Blue Sky Transmission: A Tibetan Book of the Dead;
Summer and Smoke; The Skin of Our Teeth) guides this timely, astutely
observed political satire. Musical direction is by Michael D. Flohr.
