Three characters connected by the beat of the same heart.

Dobama Theatre is proud to present the United States premiere of The Domino
Heart by Matthew Edison.  The Domino Heart premiered in March 2003 at the
Tarragon Theatre in Toronto.  Dobama Theatre is the first theatre in the
United States to show it.  Joyce Casey, Dobama’s Artistic Director, will
direct this U.S. Premiere.

Cara Fortree (Carla Dunlavey), university professor and mother, is widowed
when her husband is suddenly killed in a car accident.  Reverend Mortimer
Wright (Glenn Colerider*), is sleepless in his hospital room.  Young
advertising executive Leo Juarez (Fabio Polanco*) is camped out in his
corporate office in Chicago.  In the night sky above, a helicopter carries
the organ that will connect them all.

director Joyce Casey after the 8:00 p.m. performance.

the 7:30 p.m. performance of The Domino Heart, speak to cast members,
director Joyce Casey and playwright Matthew Edison, author of The Domino
Heart – Free to Ticketholders!

Saturday, October 25th and Thursday, October 30th -- post-performance
presentation and Q&A session with staff of LifeBanc, organ procurement
organization for Northeast Ohio on the need for organ donations.  An organ
donor and recipient will discuss the human side of transplant surgery.

*Audio-described performance on Sunday, October 26th at 2:30 p.m.

Saturday, November 1st -- post-performance discussion with Cleveland Clinic
Bioethicist Katrina A. Bramstedt, PhD.  "Ethical Considerations of
Transplant Surgery"  Bramstedt is also a member of the Heart Transplant
Selection Committee of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

We meet a trio of characters connected by a single heart – including the
