It is way too early to ask you to RSVP for this event,  b  u  t  ...   if yo=
u=20
think you would attend please reply to this e-mail and let me know.  =20

This will give us a general idea what kind of numbers we are talking about s=
o=20
that we can find the right facility.

The Details so far:
Who is invited: Neohipal subscribers and their friends, colleagues and=20
families. In other words, the entire Performing Arts Community.
Committee: Over thirty people (so far) have volunteered to help plan the=20
event, including representation from Dobama, Beck Center, Actors Summit, Cle=
veland=20
Playhouse, Tri C, Chagrin Valley Little Theatre, University of Akron, Kent=20
Stage Players and Geauga Lyric Theatre Guild.
Date: It will be on Saturday, August 28, 2004 - hours to be determined.
Place: An outdoor facility with open sided shelters, ballfields, volleyball=20
court, grassy areas and woods.  Exact location to be determined.
Food: Pot Luck
Entertainment: To be determined.

Hi folks !

I thought it would be fun to gather the performing arts community for a=20
picnic next summer.=20

The number of subscribers is approaching 2,500 so even if 10% of you decide=20
to come it would be a huge crowd.=A0 If a lot more than that attend, it coul=
d be=20
Guinness Book worthy.=A0 It would be a chance for all of you to see old frie=
nds,=20
make new friends, and perhaps even network a bit.

The event will be Saturday, August 28, 2004 in the afternoon and evening.=

mark your calendars and save the date !=A0=20

It would be an "open house style" party for all subscribers and anybody=20
(family, friends, colleagues, etc.) that you want to invite.=A0 People could=
 come for=20
a few hours or the whole day.

Since we likely will have a large crowd and also need to plan in case it=20
rains, it would have to be at a Metropark (or a similar outdoor facility) wi=
th a=20
large covered shelter.=A0 The exact location will be determined later.

I have a few general ideas about what the party could be, but I would like t=

get a small number of people to form a committee to plan and run the day.=

My general ideas are: pot luck; barbeques available; sports fields available=

for people to play softball, volleyball, frisbee, etc.; and maybe some group=

or individuals could perform.=A0 The day could start early afternoon and ext=

through the whole day to give people a lot of flexibility in case they have=20=

rehearsal or performance that day.

Also, if you THINK you would ATTEND let me know that as well.=A0 This wouldn=
