Presents
An Akron Holiday Tradition
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
"Four Years in a Row for a Darn Good Reason!"

Weathervane announces performances of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's 
"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" -- back by popular demand for the 
holiday season.  "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" is a 
Youth/Family production on stage at Weathervane from Saturday, November 22 - Sunday, 
December 21, 2003.  (Performance schedule at end of release.)  Most performers 
are students between the ages of 12 and 18. Adults perform the roles of Joseph, 
Narrator and Jacob.

The musical retells the story of Joseph, a young man with a knack for having 
prophetic dreams, who incurs the jealousy of his brothers when his father 
gives him a magnificent coat.  The energetic musical score includes many styles of 
songs including country, calypso and good ol' rock and roll.

The Directing Team
Sarah Bailey will direct this season's production. Sarah is a graduate of 
Ohio Northern University and has her Masters in Music and Pedagogy from the 
prestigious Westminster Choir College. Bailey has sung onstage at Carnegie Hall 
with the New York Philharmonic,  and was a grand finalist at the Guandong 
International Vocal Competition in China. This is Bailey's directorial debut at 
Weathervane Playhouse.
J.T. Buck serves as Musical Director.  Buck is a graduate of The University 
of Akron and was recently Musical Director of Hercules vs. Godzilla at Near 
West Theatre in Cleveland.  Choreographer for the production is Tracy Schuler, 
whose credits include Carousel Dinner Theatre, Youngstown Playhouse and Oakland 
Center for the Arts. Schuler is a graduate of Youngstown State University.

Shawn Kinser will play the role of Joseph.  Kinser, a first time Weathervane 
performer, is a graduate of the Hugh Glauser School of Music at Kent State 
University where he performed most notably in Candide in 2000.

Marissa Montigney reprises the role of the narrator. Other cast members 
include: Caitlin Bolden, Amanda Bouffard, Elise Cordle, Amy Farmer, Katie 
Farragher, Jessi Hale, Kyle Herman, Ryan Kepes, Friederike Nagel, Helena Olee, Carla 
Pizzino, Alix Reilly, Drew Reilly, Chris Rusen, Sonny Russo, Bobby Salada, Leah 
Sass, Cory Schafer, Andy Schueneman, Danielle Schprechman, Emily Schprechman, 
Brittany Smith, Matt Talley Derrick Turner, Brittany Unruh, Aaron Veal, Lee 
Wilson.  Local communities represented by the talented cast are Akron, Copley, 
Doylestown, Medina, Ravenna, Kent, Stow, Fairlawn, Hudson, Brecksville, Green, 
Mogadore, North Royalton, Twinsburg, Cuyahoga Falls, Bath, Richfield and 
Wadsworth.
Each performance will feature a guest youth chorus from either Harris 
Elementary School in Akron or Price Elementary School in Cuyahoga Falls.

This collaboration promises to be an entertaining and family-oriented theater 
experience. Ticket prices are family-friendly at $10 or  $8 for children 12 
and under.  Group rates are also available.
