The Playhouse Square Education Department, in collaboration with the
Cleveland Public Library and the AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland,
presents

Many Voices, Many Lives: Performing Artists Respond to AIDS

A highlight of the Many Voices, Many Lives series is a performance piece,
Performing Artists Respond to AIDS, taking place Monday, December 8th at
7:30 p.m. at Playhouse Square's West Rehearsal Hall. 
In Performing Artists Respond to AIDS, community artists and activists
respond to the reading series, exploring what it means to be affected by
AIDS as a community. A dramatic piece, co-written by community artists Jodi
Maile and Sonya Hoffmann, features a 15-person ensemble of HIV/AIDS
caseworkers, people with HIV/AIDS, and professional actors. Additional
highlights include choreographed pieces by Michael Medcalf of Cleveland
Contemporary Dance Theatre and Bill Wade of In.Let Dance Theatre. A small
exhibit of children's artwork will also be on display. 
Admission is free and open to the public. Donations to the AIDS Taskforce of
Greater Cleveland are greatly encouraged and appreciated. Playhouse Square's
West Rehearsal Hall is located at 1650 Chester Avenue.
