[NEohioPAL]Paid entertainers needed for family fall Metro Parks event

Metro Parks, Serving Summit County is in need of musical and other forms of entertainment for our 2004 Fall Family Outings on Saturday, October 2 at Goodyear Heights Metro Park and Saturday, October 9 at Silver Creek Metro Park in Norton.  This free event attracts approximately 3,000 - 5,000 people at each location and features hayrides, bonfires, free food and more.  Occurs from 6-9 pm.

We are looking for a headliner musical act at the Silver Creek location, preferably folk music or something else appropriate to the park and family setting.  Can be a solo artist or group, but performers who engage active audience participation are desired.  

We are also seeking other ancillary and roving entertainment for both sites.  If you perform or do family-friendly entertainment like clowning, juggling, magic, storytelling, or something else that would be appropriate for this type of event, and would be interested in performing, please contact me with your rates, availability and if possible, a demo tape.

This is a free event we provide annually as a public service, therefore cost will affect our decision.
