The Fine Arts Association's Corning Auditorium

Auditions by appointment.  To schedule an appointment or for further
information please call Ann Hedger, Theatre Operations Coordinator at
440-951-7500 x103.  Appointments will be taken January 5-12, 2004. (Fine
Arts is closed from December 20-January 4 for the holidays.)

Special Casting Information:

Casting is open to students ages 6 through 18 years of age. (Must be 6 years
old as of January 12, 2004.)  25-30 roles are available.  Human roles are
gender specific.  Animal roles may be played by either boys or girls.
Character breakdowns are as follows:  Fern Arable (a girl age 10-12); John
Arable (her father); Martha Arable (her mother); Avery Arable (her brother,
age 10-14); Homer Zuckerman (her uncle, a farmer); Edith Zuckerman (her
aunt); Lurvy, the Zuckerman's hired hand (may be played by a boy or girl);
Wilbur, a young pig, the runt of the litter (may be played by a boy or
girl); Charlotte (a spider, kind and motherly); Templeton, a rat (may be
played by a boy or girl); Goose (a proud mother); Gander (husband of Goose);
Sheep (may be played by a boy or girl); Lamb (child of Sheep and may be
played by a boy or girl); an ensemble of 12-16.  ALL ROLES ARE SPEAKING
ROLES!

Production Dates:

March 5-14, 2004. Fridays at 7:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays at 3:00 p.m.
March 9 & 11 at 11:00 a.m.  Presented in the Corning Auditorium.

What to Prepare:

Please come prepared with a memorized poem or monologue not to exceed 1
minute in length.  Be prepared to also read from the script.  Auditions will
last approximately one hour.  No parents/visitors will be permitted in the
theatre during auditions.
