Boulevard Theatre Announces Cast for The Waverly Gallery

Boulevard Theatre has announced the cast for its upcoming production of The=20
Waverly Gallery, by Kenneth Lonergan, scheduled for February 20-29 at M%=20
Gallery, 12812 Larchmere Blvd. in Cleveland near Shaker Heights.=A0 Sarah Ma=
y is the=20
director. Tickets will be available after February 1.

The cast is:=20
Lee Mackey         as gallery owner Gladys Green
Ivy Kopit =A0=A0=A0=A0       as her daughter Ellen Fine
James Savage =A0=A0=A0=A0 as her grandson Daniel Reed
David Rohler =A0=A0=A0=A0  as her son-in-law Howard Fine and=20
Douglas A. Kusak  as Don Bowman, the artist

A Pulitzer Prize finalist, The Waverly Gallery is a powerfully poignant and=20
often hilarious play about the final years of a generous, chatty and feisty=20
grandmother's battle against Alzheimer's disease. A left-wing social activis=
t,=20
Gladys is the long-time owner of a Greenwich Village art gallery.=A0 The pla=
y=20
explores her fight to retain her independence and the effect on her family,=20=
which=20
includes her daughter and son-in-law (both psychiatrists) and her speechwrit=
er=20
grandson.=A0 A visiting artist also plays an important role.=20

Discussions will follow selected performances.

Founded in early 1999, Boulevard Theatre is a program of the City of Shaker=20
