Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead

Audition Dates:  Sunday January 18th through Tuesday January  20th

Time:   7 pm

Place:   The Kent Stage  175 East Main Street in Kent (Go figure)

Everyone knows Rosencrantz and Guildenstern.  The two guys from Hamlet =
who show up, stand around for a couple of scenes, and then leave again =
only to be sent to their deaths by their "old friend" Hamlet--our  =
hero--for no good reason.  Big whoop.  No one cares.   Sometimes they're =
even cut entirely.  They aren't that important.

Or are they?

The mind behind Mike and Ike screws with Tom Stoppard's haunting, =
surreal examination of fate, reality, illusion, and good personal =
grooming.

Auditioners should be prepared to read from the script and to do =
something silly.

Tangier in Akron has opened its new Comedy Club in the legendary Tangier =
Cabaret. Appearing next weekend, January 23 & 24 are Mark Sweeney and =
Josh Sneed. Our in-house emcee is Mike Conley. Shows are Friday 7:00 =
(non-smoking show) & 9:30, Saturday 7:00 & 9:30. Tickets for this show =
are $10 and there is no drink minimum. 21 & over only. Advance =
reservations required by calling 330/376-7171. Coming soon are Brad =
Sherwood, Kevin Pollack and Dave Chappelle (dates for these performers =
cannot be announced yet -- so don't call asking for tickets quite yet!)
