The Costume Designer will have the opportunity to design costumes for three=20
major productions (play, musical, opera) and provide some support for two mi=
nor=20
(dance, youth theatre). This position also includes costume construction=20
responsibilities and will be assisted by a stitcher/wardrobe intern therefor=
e=20
instruction of interns and strong communication skills will be necessary. Th=
e=20
designer will be responsible for research, design, scheduling, budgeting and=
 all=20
applicable paper work. The designer needs be able to work collaboratively wi=
th=20
other designers and tech staff. The best candidate will possess strong=20
organizational skills and work well with professionals, conservatory student=
s as well=20
as interns and local volunteers. This position reports to the Director of=20
Theatre Arts. Housing is provided.

The Prop Master will be responsible for executing props and set d=E9cor for=20
three productions (play, musical, opera). This person needs to have good=20
carpentry skills, and experience with furniture and soft goods (upholstery a=
nd fabric)=20
is helpful. There is a modestly equipped shop on the premises. Props may be=20
pulled from a large stock, borrowed, built, or purchased (within budget=20
limitations) based on set design specifications. The best candidate will be=20=
a=20
self-starter and willing collaborator with great organizational and communic=
ation=20
skills. The prop master must have the ability to work with professionals as=20=
well=20
as interns and area volunteers. The position reports to the Set Designer and=
=20
Technical Director, and is responsible for the props budget. Housing is=20

The Stage Manager is responsible for stage management of three productions=20
(play, musical, opera) in two theatre spaces--a 250-seat and a 1,700-seat=20
proscenium house. Ability to read music is essential. Candidate must be high=

organized with proven communication and leadership skills and an ability to=20=

the calm in stressful situations. This person must be able to work=20
collaboratively with a professional staff as well as interns and local volun=

responsibilities include assisting at auditions, taking notes during product=

meetings and disseminating them, publishing rehearsal notes in a timely=20
manner, creating rehearsal schedules (in conjunction with stage directors) a=

 The Technical Intern is a great position for someone looking to improve=20
carpentry, electrics, and/or paint skills. Three interns will work directly=20=

lighting designs for three major productions (play, musical, opera) and prov=

tech support for two minor (dance concert, youth theatre). Prior working=20
