PORTHOUSE THEATRE SEEKS SAXOPHONE PLAYER FOR A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE

Cuyahoga Falls, OH - Porthouse Theatre, Akron-Cleveland area=92s=20
premiere, professional summer theatre, is in search of a saxophone=20
player for A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE.  Individual needs to be able to=20
improvise blues and jazz and be willing to portray small roles in the=20
production.  Males are preferred but not required.  A STREETCAR NAMED=20
DESIRE, will be directed by Warehouse Theatre Artistic Director, John=20
Woodson, who directed last season=92s THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST and=
=20
runs July 1 =96 17, 2004.  Those interested in auditioning should prepare=
=20
a one =96 two minute contemporary monologue and be prepared to improvise=20
or play a memorized piece on his/her saxophone.  This position is paid=20
and EMC points are available. =20

In Kent, auditions for all three productions will be Saturday, March=20
6th from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Main Kent State University Campus,=20
Music & Speech Center.  The Music & Speech Center is located on the=20
corner of Horning & Main.  In Cleveland, auditions for all three=20
productions will be Sunday, March 7th from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. and=20
Monday, March 8th from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. at The Cleveland Play House. =20
AEA auditions are Monday, March 8th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  The=20
Cleveland Play House is located on Euclid Avenue and East 85th Street. =20

the Music & Speech Center at Kent State University. =20
