Microphones Sound Differences for Film/Video Production

Moderated by Richard B. Ingraham
Richard has worked in just about every aspect of the professional audio
world. Although primarily a Sound Designer for Theatre, he has worked on
studio album projects, concert recordings, live sound/concert sound,
sound system design/installation and film/video. After working for The
Cleveland Play House for 7 years in various capacities, most recently as
Resident Sound Designer, he left The Cleveland Play House, and began
working Freelance. Richard is currently the Resident Sound Designer for
the Hope Summer Repertory Theatre, in Holland MI, and Designs Sound for
several theatre companies in the Cleveland area and around the country
including: Cleveland Art Theatre, The Beck Center for the Arts, Dobama
Theatre, Shakespeare and Company (Lenox, MA), and The University of
Evansville (Evansville, IN). His most current Film/Video work was with
Bill Johns of Cinevid Productions on a project for the History Channel,
and on Christine Chapman's film 20th Century. Richard is also an
Associate Programmer for the newly formed company Aura Show Control, who
specialize in creative and technical design services to the exhibition
and themed entertainment industry.
