Subject: [NEohioPAL]CTCNews: Ben Cameron of TCG to Speak Here on 2/19 +
Advocacy

BREAKING NEWS: Ben Cameron, executive director of the Theatre
Communications Group, and one of the foremost theater leaders in the
country, will be in town next week for a meeting. He has graciously agreed
to make room in his schedule to speak to the theater community at-large.
He's a dynamic and insightful speaker with an unparalleled perspective on
the national theater scene. He's eager to share that perspective with us
and to enlarge his perspective further by hearing from us about the theater
scene here. Though the notice is short, it would be great to have a strong
showing.

Date: Tuesday, February 19
Time: 3-5:30 pm
Place: Cleveland Public Theatre, 6415 Detroit Avenue

The event is free but bring your checkbooks because we'll be on hand to
process 2004 CTC memberships at the door.

RE: ADVOCACY FOR ISSUE 31
Election day is March 2. Issue 31 will provide about $10.5 million in
revenue for arts and culture, in addition to an equal amount for economic
redevelopment, at a cost of about $2 a month for the owner of a house valued
at $100,000. Write letters to the editor in support of the issue,
contribute to the campaign, volunteer in the campaign office. To find out
how to get involved, go to www.supportartsandculture.org. Even if you have
not registered to vote yourself, you can help by talking the issue up to
friends, family, and neighbors who will be voting. Thanks.
