COMPOSER AND LYRICIST STEPHEN SCHWARTZ TO PRESENT LECTURE AND MASTER 
CLASS AT KENT STATE UNIVERSITY'S SCHOOL OF THEATRE & DANCE

Presented by the Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Series, award winning 
composer and lyricist, Stephen Schwartz will be at Kent State 
University on Monday, February 23rd and Tuesday, February 24th.

On Monday, February 23rd at 6:30 PM, Stephen Schwartz will present a 
free lecture as a part of the "Spotlight on Success" lecture series.  
"Spotlight on Success" was created in celebration of the School of 
Theatre & Dance's 20th anniversary.  Hosted by School Director, John R. 
Crawford, "Spotlight on Success" is a panel discussion similar to 
"Inside the Actor's Studio.  Mr. Schwartz will participate in the 
"Spotlight on Success" on Monday, February 23rd at 6:30 PM in E. Turner 
Stump Theatre of the Music & Speech Building on the main Kent State 
University campus. This event is free and open to the public but 
reservations are required.  For reservations please call 330-672-2497.

Stephen Schwartz will present a Master Class on Tuesday, February 24th 
from 10:45 AM - 12 PM in E. Turner Stump Theatre.  During the Master 
Class, Mr. Schwartz will be working with KSU Musical Theatre students 
on audition techniques.  This class is free and open to the public.  
Reservations are not required for the Master Class.
