GroundWorks will present the world premiere of a new work by Artistic Director David Shimotakahara, and the Cleveland premiere of “At Once There Was A House” by guest choreographer Beth Corning of Dance Alloy in Pittsburgh, PA.

Wilma Salisbury from The Plain Dealer wrote about GroundWorks’ recent performances of Beth Corning’s “At Once There Was A House,”-“a work so rich in metaphor and meaning that it needs to be seen more than once,”

Elaine Guregian for the Akron Beacon Journal wrote, “These performers make you feel that their human exchanges are vitally important. That’s the affirmative and rejuvenating power of this dance and this company.”
