FORMING IN CLEVELAND.
This is a wonderful opportunity for independent filmmakers and others
interested in our local film industry. If you are a film producer, director, actor,
screenplay writer, cameraperson, videographer, soundperson, editor, etc., or
if you are interested in the film industry in any other capacity, please read

After more than 25 years in Mainstream Hollywood,
Stephen Simon (Producer/Director/Studio Executive on such
films as Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Somewhere in Time, What Dreams
May Come, The Good-bye Girl, Smokey and the Bandit and many others, and author
of THE FORCE IS WITH YOU- (Mystical Movie Messages That Inspire Our Lives) has
CO-founded The Institute of Spiritual Entertainment, Inc. (ISE).
This organization provides a venue for the development of artistic and
creative works that inspire and ennoble the human spirit... supporting artistic
expression. Beside offering support in getting your film made, there is also

Recognizing the powerful effect - both good and bad - that the media has upon
our culture, Stephen Simon travels the globe promoting an explosive grass
roots movement called "Spiritual Cinema Communities." "Spiritual Cinema" is a
new genre which illuminates the human condition through films that inspire the
viewer to explore our humanity at its best. Spiritual is not to be confused
with religious. Spiritual Entertainment explores the magic, mystery and
paradoxes of the human experience." (i.e. It's a Wonderful Life, Forrest Gump, The
Matrix, Bruce Almighty, 2001 A Space Odessy, Whale Rider, Crouching Tiger

Through the leadership of Stephen Simon and ISE, over 70 "Spiritual Cinema
Communities" have been formed from Connecticut to Australia. There are two
different spiritual cinema community focuses.
1. Artistic focused Community

Participants are those in the artistic community who create entertainment
that falls within the spiritual cinema genre. This group will gather monthly in
a safe and nurturing space to:
* Work in a collaborative effort to create Spiritual Entertainment
projects via
script writing, reading, film development, etc.
* Work as a support team for each other for whatever creative project
each participant might have.
* Share knowledge and resources to increase the successes of each
participant.
* Showcase each other's projects for discussion and feedback.
* Invite guest speakers to discuss topics of interest to the participants.
* Inform and interest the public about Spiritual Entertainment.
* Provide insights and updates to the ISE.
The following values and attitudes will be honored within this artistic
community:
** Providing an open, supportive and creative network of artistic people
**Creating a safe, nurturing space to allow creative energies to flow
**Sharing and expanding through collaboration, teamwork and a
"together we can" attitude
**Connecting people with their passion and higher purpose
