Just a reminder that the Cesear's Forum production of Glen Berger's
UNDERNEATH THE LINTEL, opens this April Fools weekend thru May 8th, at Kennedy's Down
Under, Playhouse Square Center. It seems apropos, since our mystery play about
a Dutch librarian-turned-detective (a bit of a fool) pursues clues from a
19th century travel guidebook. Played by Joe Gunderman, his absurd journey
catches him up in a whirlwind of existential upheaval and as mysteries seem to
reveal themselves, a transformation of character. Directed by Fred Sternfeld ,
this Cleveland premiere of the Off-Broadway hit is filled with poignant humor
and touching poetry - a soaring exploration of the human spirit. Won't you join
us in viewing this relatively unknown but worthwhile play. Tickets are
priced at just $15. Call 216-241-6000 or visit us throughout the run - Fridays and
Saturdays at 8pm, Kennedy's (Under the Ohio Theatre), 1501 Euclid Avenue,
Cleveland.
