Re: 'Perfect' Cast Selected by Hudson Players

HUDSON, OHIO - Hudson Players Director, Wayne Herholz has assembled a
first-class cast for this Spring's production of "Perfect Wedding," a
comedy-farce by Robin Hawdon. The fast-action production will run April
30, May 1, 7, 8, 14 and 15.

The ensemble cast includes veteran performer Jim Wolf as the befuddled
groom who wakes up after his bachelor party with a hangover and a
strange woman, played by Linda Peel, in his bed. His immediate panic is
justified, as he knows that his bride-to-be, played by Denise Bernstein,
and his best man, featuring Mark DePompeii (who just starred as Tevye in
Hudson Player's sold-out performances of "Fiddler on the Roof") will
soon arrive. Pam LaForce (who recently met great reviews in "Personals"
at Actors' Summit) will add fire and comedy, along with seasoned
actress, Kathy Turk, as the mother of the bride.

"Perfect Wedding" is being directed by Wayne Merholz from Solon (who
directed last year's production of "Man of La Mancha"). Merholz has
directed at various theaters throughout Ohio.

Author Robin Hawdon has had an extremely varied career. Beyond writing
novels and appearing on British television, he starred in "When
Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth" and "Zeta One." As a playwright, he has
written over a dozen plays including, "Birthday Suite" and the highly
successful, "Don't Dress for Dinner."

Tickets for "Perfect Wedding" will be $10 and are available by calling
the Hudson Players telephone box office 330 655-8522. The Learned Owl
Book Shop will have tickets available April 15.

The Barlow Community Center is off route 303, two blocks east of route
91 and on South Oviatt Street - across from the Hudson Fire Department
and Safety Center. For more information or for tickets, contact the
Hudson Players: players at ayalogic.com.
