Summer Positions Still Available at Porthouse Theatre
Porthouse Theatre, the outdoor, professional summer theatre located on=20
the grounds of Blossom Music Center, still has paid positions available=20
for its 2004 season. The season, which begins in late May and ends=20
mid-August, will include Godspell, A Streetcar Named Desire, and Guys &=20
Dolls. All positions receive a tax-free stipend, 6 tuition-free=20
credits from Kent State University and housing if needed. The=20
following positions are available=85

Porthouse Theatre, founded in 1971, is the premier summer theatre in=20
Northeast Ohio. Set on the grounds of Blossom Music Center, 1145=20
Steels Corners Road, Cuyahoga Falls, Porthouse offers audiences the=20
finest in professional summer theatre. The comfortable 500-seat,=20
outdoor, covered pavilion theater is located next to the Cuyahoga=20
Valley National Park and on the grounds of Blossom Music Center. =20
Audience members are encouraged to arrive early to picnic on the=20
grounds, or guests can reserve space in the Thornbury picnic pavilion=20
for a minimal charge. =20
Porthouse Theatre is a cultural service of Kent State University and is=20
a member of the Akron Area Arts Alliance. Porthouse Theatre=92s programs=
=20
and activities are made possible in part by funding from the Ohio Arts=20
