[NEohioPAL]Paid Busker Opportunities in Downtown Cleveland

Street Beats, running 16 consecutive weekends in downtown Cleveland
beginning June 4th, is seeking to hire musicians, performance artists, and
specialty acts as live "entertainment ambassadors" on busy downtown
sidewalks.  Every Friday during lunchtime and every Friday and Saturday for
dinnertime, downtown pedestrians will discover fun, fascinating,
family-friendly entertainers at various outdoor cafes, public walkways, and
entrances of special events.  At every performer location, weekly Street
Beats flyers will be available to help visitors explore entertainment hot
spots, distinctive restaurants and ShopCleveland merchants.

Performer auditions are being held on May 4th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm and on
May 6th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at the Playhouse Square Center complex.
Judges include Cleveland Public Theater's artistic director Randy Rollison,
Great Lakes Theater Festival's associate artristic director Andrew May, and
WCPN/ideastream's radio host Dee Perry.

Auditions must be scheduled by calling the Street Beats hotline,
216-241-5490 X914, on April 21st and 22nd.
