Young Actor Ensemble Auditions
The Young Actor Ensemble is for a select group of students entering grades 9
through 12 who are ready to make a more serious commitment to the craft of
theatre performance. Collaboration, creativity and professionalism are
emphasized as students learn acting, movement and vocal techniques
culminating in a revue-style showcase performance.
Audition Dates and Times: Sunday, April 25 from 7-9 pm and Monday,
April 26 from 6-9 pm
Appointments required by
calling (440) 951-7500
Audition Location: The Shadowbox Theatre at The Fine Arts Association,
38660 Mentor Avenue, Willoughby
(on The Andrews School campus)
Audition Preparation: Prepare a one-minute monologue from a play
(memorization is mandatory)
Prepare a song of 16-18 bars from a
musical theatre production (bring sheet music in correct key)
Dress comfortably for movement
Arrive at scheduled time and plan to
stay for an hour
All ability levels will be considered.
Auditions are for acceptance and placement into the program.
Ensemble Class Dates and Times: June 15-July 27; Tuesdays, Wednesdays &
Thursdays from 1:30-4:30 pm

Cost of Program: $199 plus $13 registration fee
Final Production A Day in New York Dates and Times: July 26 & 27 at 7:30 pm
