AUDITION INFORMATION:

The Production Will Be Performed August 5-22

*Mr Arnold is looking for 13 performers who can sing and move well, of any 
age 16 or older. The cast will be made up of both males and females with no 
pre-determined ratio of each

*Those auditioning are asked to come to only one of the two audition dates, 
but to be available for a POSSIBLE CALLBACK AUDITION:  Sunday, May 16 At 7:00pm

*Auditioners must bring a prepared song and provide either their own cassette 
tape or CD accompaniment (any music genre is acceptable provided it features 
vocal range and voice quality), or provide their own piano accompanist. There 
will be a cassette/CD player available, but a piano accompanist WILL NOT be 
provided at the auditions. Auditioners are also asked to come dressed to move 
freely in a simple dance audition.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Ohio Actor and Director Steven Arnold, a previous resident of Canton and past 
participant in several NCP, Players Guild of Canton and Kent State Stark 
Campus productions, will return to Canton this summer to Direct the North Canton 
Playhouse's production of Harry Chapin's rompin' and stompin' musical "Cotton 
Patch Gospel." Mr. Arnold is a Theatre graduate of The Ohio State University 
and served as the Artistic Director of the Mansfield Playhouse from 1997-2000.
