The Cleveland IndieClub (part of the worldwide Indieclub.com) meets
monthly free of charge for those who have the passion for making movies
using film or video (whether it is in acting, directing, producing,
writing, lighting or any other skill) and are looking for others who
have similar interests.

This month's meeting consist of a two-part discussion
 
Short films showing:
* From Bill Johns of Cleveland's Cinevid Productions: The Last Straw
 
* From Germany" Leif Arne Petersen, Alexander Hupperich, Manuel Macha
and Paul Dreisen: Dronez 
 
Part I:
A Special Screening:  "...the making of..." 
a mockumentary about a group of documentary filmmakers trying to make a 
documentary about themselves trying to make the documenatry that they
are 
trying to make. 
 
Winner of Best Mockumentary at New York International Independent Film &

Video Festival and Bare Bones International Film Festival. Winner of
Best 
Comedy at 2003 DV Awards and Winner of Best Direction at New York Short 
Film Festival.
 
After the screening, Q&A session plus meet the cast and crew of ".the
making of." including Joshua Blackburn and William Thorne.

Technical Guest Speaker: Mr. Bill Johns of Cinevid Productions
Topic: Look of Film - Why is it so important?
 
About Bill Johns:  An Emmy and Telly Award winning videographer for
"Urban Cancer Project: A Family's Story", Bill started making films
while still in High School. In 1990, he was involved in a 35mm feature
film, chronicled the life and times of a fictional Rock Star named,
Johnny Legend, entitled, "Shooting Star". Later, as the Director of
Photography, Cameraman and Pyrotechnician for "Enemy". Since then, he
had several shorts finished and led many discussion groups and written
articles for video and film magazines like dvformat.com and others.
