Re:  Perfect Wedding Opens Tomorrow
 
HUDSON, OHIO - Robin Hawdon's hilarious comedy, "Perfect Wedding" will
open tomorrow, Friday night at Barlow Community Center in Hudson Ohio.
The Hudson Players are thrilled to present this fast-paced farce and
will be celebrating with an excuse for you to throw on your least
favorite bride's maid dress or tacky tux.  Sure, there will be discounts
for dressing up and prizes for the best outfits, but more importantly,
there will be a production that'll have you rolling in the aisle!  
 
The ensemble cast features veteran performer, Jim Wolf, as a groom who
wakes up after his bachelor party with a hangover and a woman who's not
part of his wedding party, played by Pam LaForce.  His immediate panic
is justified, as he knows that his bride-to-be and his best man, played
by Denise Bernstein and Mark DePompeii (who recently received rave
reviews as Tevye in Hudson Player's "Fiddler on the Roof") soon will
arrive.  Linda Peel plays a maid who gets drawn into the whole charade
and Kathy Turk is the mother of the bride.  Both add energy and lots of
laughs.
 
Wayne Merholz, who directed Hudson Player's production of "Man of La
Mancha" last season, is providing perfect choreography to this
lightning-fast play.  Merholz is from Solon and has directed at various
theaters throughout Ohio.  
 
 "Perfect Wedding" opens 8pm Friday, April 30 and runs May 1, 7, 8, 14
and 15.  All performances are at the Barlow Community Center.  Tickets
are $10 and are available by calling the Hudson Players telephone box
office 330 655-8522.  The Learned Owl Book Shop will have tickets
available April 15.
 
The Barlow Community Center is off route 303, two blocks east of route
91, on South Oviatt Street (across from the Hudson Fire Department and
