Beck Center's Riverside Youth Choirs

Announce

Auditions for 2004-2005 Season

Lakewood, Ohio - The Riverside Youth Choirs at The Beck have performed
with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra, have sung the National Anthem at
Cleveland Indians games and have appeared on FOX 8 News in the morning.
On November 28th the chamber choir will perform at the Palace Theater
and participate in an international festival celebrating our fifteenth
year anniversary in the summer of 2005. Become a part of this well-
respected group of choirs.

            Performing Choir Level II         Grades 4 - 8 (audition
required)

            Performing Choir Level I           Grades 5 - 8 (audition
required)

            Chamber Choir             Grades 6 - 9 (audition required)

Auditions for the three performing choirs are by appointment on the
following days:

*	June 10, 11, 12=20
*	August 2, 3, 9, 30=20
*	September 3, 4, 10, 11

            Catch a glimpse of the auditioned choir at our Spring
Concert on May 16. The concert is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Rocky River
United Methodist Church. The choirs will perform an original song
entitled "No Turning Back" written by local Westlake music specialist
and composer, Jim Tinter.  Jim will accompany the group on guitar.
Currently, he teaches general music and beginning band at Holly Lane
Elementary and Parkside Intermediate Schools in Westlake.  Jim considers
it a huge honor to have a choir of this caliber perform his piece. We
hope you will be able to come and look us over. =20
