NEWFANGLED PRODUCTION's SPRING AWAKENING is officially opening tonight, but has received some early praise from a preview audience.

"Highly recommended: Spring Awakening

Here's a head's up alert for those who like theatre that takes risks. Check out Newfangled's latest production in a most amazing performance space -- an artist's work/living space that becomes a perfect playground for the "children." The acting and staging are a great delight to behold. So go see it! I'm going to see it again, and
hope to see some of you there. It's in an odd part of town right after Memorial Parkway turns into W Tallmadge Ave. Heading east, it's on the right, a small industrial type building with 170 scrawled on the front exterior.
For those who care about such things, sexual situations and actual cigarette smoking occur during the performance. So if you don't like cigarette smoke, be sure to sit under the large ceiling fan. And if you don't like sexual situations, don't go see this play. See a counseler -- just kidding!"
