CCDT's "Summer Dance Camp 04" allows beginning to intermediate students of=20
dance ages 10-16 the opportunity to immerse themselves in dance for 5 weeks=20
under the direction of Michael Medcalf, artistic director of Cleveland=20
Contemporary Dance Theatre, Cleveland's premiere Multicultural dance ensembl=
e.

CCDT=E2=80=99S SUMMER DANCE CAMP 04 WILL ONLY BE=20
ACCEPTING 20 STUDENTS=20

FOR MORE FOCUSED ATTENTION PER STUDENT.

This five-week intensive offers a diverse curriculum of ballet, modern and=20
hip hop dance techniques taught by CCDT company members and distinguished da=
nce=20
professionals from  Northeast Ohio.
=20
At the end of program students will have to opportunity to participate in th=
e=20
culminating performance and audition for scholarships to attend the School o=
f=20
Cleveland Contemporary Dance Theatre for the 04-05 school year. =20
Additionally, student will also be considered and for CONSORT!, CCDT=E2=80=
=99s After-school=20
dancing training and life-skills program.
=20
Requirements:  To be accepted in the program students must have studied=20
ballet, modern, jazz or African at least one full year from a professional s=
tudio=20
or have in-school equivalent experiences.  Students will be required to take=
=20
class in tights, leotards, ballet slippers, jazz shoes and jazz pants=20
(preferably all black) only. This dress code is for girls and boys. Students=
 must=20
strictly adhere to SCCDT policies and procedures at all time or be removed f=
rom the=20
program.
