Hi,

A committee met yesterday at Centerville Mills Camp to begin the process of 
planning the picnic.  Members of the committee will be posting to the list over 
the next few weeks with details about the day and requests for volunteers to 
perform or assist with the picnic in a variety of ways.  I hope that you will 
respond to them to help make this a rousing success and an annual tradition!

Here is a general outline of the day; a lot more details will follow from 
members of the committee over the next few weeks.

WHO IS INVITED?
Neohiopal subscribers and their friends and families - In other words, the 
whole performing arts community. Over four hundred people from dozens of 
performing arts organizations tentatively rsvp'ed over the last few months. We expect 
many more to plan to attend as the picnic date draws near.

WHEN
Saturday, August 28, 2004 from 1:00pm through late evening. This is an open 
house. The long time span of the event is so that people who have other 
commitments that day will be able to attend at least part of the day. 

WHERE WILL THIS TAKE PLACE?
The Centerville Mills Camp
8558 Crackel Rd.,

The camp is located on a beautiful 165 acre site with plenty of woods and a 
scenic waterfall.

FOOD & DRINK
Pot Luck. BYOB.

ENTERTAINMENT & OTHER ACTIVITIES
This will be a great chance to hang out, relax and socialize with everyone. 
For people who want to engage in something more active we are planning various 
activities:
-- Three performing venues will be created: picnic shelter, dining hall and a 
campfire. Individuals and/or groups will perform throughout the day.
-- Ballfields available: Volleyball, Softball, Soccer.  BYO equipment.
-- Children's Activities including a playground, arts and crafts tables and 
outdoor games.
-- Hikes
-- Games
