Director with over-the-top comedy experience, preferably with murder =
mystery dinner theater productions, to take over all responsibilities =
for the production of such plays at a location between Elyria and =
Lorain. Shows will start about first week in October. Hope to run =
weekly, possibly bi-weekly to get started. This position pays by the =
show. Actors also are paid by the show. Need to start rehearsals around =
mid-August, depending on availability of director and actors. This is a =
new location for a company that has been producing murder mystery dinner =
theater plays for seven years at three locations. All scripts written by =
company founder and tested at our home location before they go to any =
other venues. Since this is a new venue, any contacts you have with =
local newspaper, radio and television entertainment people will be a =
plus. If you're not dependable, or don't see the need for expedient =
communications, please don't waste our time. Don't want a perfectionist, =
but you need to have pride in what you do. I give directors and actors a =
lot of leeway to enhance performances, but there is a limit. Need to get =
started soon, so please reply asap.
