DISNEY THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS AUDITIONS FOR EXCELLENT SINGERS WHO DANCE WELL
FOR DISNEY'S NEW MUSICAL ON THE RECORD 

>From the producers of The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast, comes ON THE
RECORD, a new musical that sparkles with more than 50 of the most beloved
songs ever written, from some of the most popular films ever made -
including The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Tarzan, The Hunchback of Notre Dame,
Sleeping Beauty, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Lady and the Tramp, Cinderella
and Snow White. 

We are seeking male and female singers who dance well for all adult roles.
All roles require strong, dynamic singers who are great with harmony and are
excellent musicians comfortable in many styles. We may ask you dance at some
point in the day. Men and women of all cultural backgrounds are encouraged
to attend. This is an AEA Production Contract; Equity and non-Equity members
are welcome to audition. Rehearsals for On The Record begin in September of
2004. 

All actors in the production will either play or understudy one of the
following four roles: 

DIANE: 30s-40s. Belter, comfortable with low, smoky, jazzy music; will belt
high Cs or Ds - legit extension optional.

JULIAN: 30s-40s. Baritone or low tenor comfortable with both legit and pop
music - low A to high F or G. 

NICK: 20s. High tenor with bravura high notes; comfortable with both legit
and pop music - low B to high A or B-flat. 

KRISTEN: 20s. High belter - at least a D, with legit extension; should have
good mix and soprano as well - low G or A-flat to high G or A.

WHAT TO PREPARE:
Please prepare 16 bars of a pop or contemporary musical theatre song. Bring
the sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Bring a recent picture and
resume stapled together.
