Looking for a fun family way to spend Fathers Day?  Then come to Cleveland's 
North Coast Harbor to treat Dad like an Admiral!

Both the USS COD Submarine Memorial and SS WILLIAM G. MATHER Museum are 
offering Dads FREE admission on Fathers Day, Sunday, June 20, when Dads come 
onboard with their families (no other discounts or coupons apply). The COD 
is open from 10 am - 5 pm and the MATHER from Noon - 5:30 pm.  Both are 
located within short walking distance of each other right by the Rock & Roll 
Hall of Fame.  Just travel North on East Ninth Street in downtown Cleveland 
to connect with your Great Lake!

The COD is the only WWII era submarine still in its WWII configuration and 
the MATHER is a retired Great Lakes oreboat and former flagship freighter.  
The MATHER, and ships like her, helped provide the raw materials to produce 
steel for vessels like the COD.  Dad will be intrigued by the fascinating 
feats of the narrow but powerful USS COD and marvel at the vast cargo holds 
and 4-story engine room of the MATHER.  Both boats require climbing up and 
down narrow passages and steep ladders.  Good, rubber-soled, flat, covered 
walking shoes are highly recommended.

The COD has a small parking lot for the duration of your visit only, and 
longer term parking is available at Burke Lakefront Airport, the Great Lakes 
Science Center, and other lots in the area.  Metered parking is also free on 
the weekends.

As a special bonus, Dads can enter a FREE raffle at the SS MATHER Museum to 
win COD and MATHER souvenirs.  Dads need not be present to win.
