Carnahan and Donohoe lead a multi-talented cast in this witty comedy
about a luxury cruise liner carrying an assorted group of high society
socialites, amusing public enemies and an array of other quirky
characters from the New York harbor to the London shores.

=20

The story begins as Billy Crocker enters a local bar to drop off a
steamer ticket to his boss, Mr. Whitney, who is traveling to London the
next day. Crocker, the local Casanova, runs into Reno, his forgotten
date of the evening. Reno, a night club entertainer-turned-=20

evangelist and a prima donna herself, puts advances towards her longtime
friend Billy, but is turned down as he professes his love for Miss Hope
Harcourt.=20

=20

The next day, Billy agrees to see Reno off on her voyage to London.
When he notices Hope also boarding the ship, he spontaneously decides to
board as a stow-a-way. Billy conjures up a ticket from Moonface Martin,
also known as Public Enemy #13 whose colleague, the notorious gangster
Snake Eyes Johnson, missed the ship.=20

=20

A ticket in hand, the courting begins for Miss Harcourt. Hope Harcourt
is to marry Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, a wealthy Englishman on the trip, but
this does not stop Billy from trying to woo her and stop the marriage of
convenience. Billy is not the only one doing some wooing on board as
Reno sets her sights on the Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Mishap after mishap,
disguise after disguise...its ANYTHING GOES on this crazy cruise liner!

=20

Dominic Roberts, local actor and recent graduate of Baldwin Wallace
College, plays the dashing Billy Crocker. His credits include Chuck in
AVENUE X; Daniel in RAGTIME; HELLO DOLLY! and Carousel's MISS SAIGON.

=20

Rounding out the principal roles are local actress Katherine Wilfong as
Hope Harcourt; New York actor Marc Moritz as Lord Evelyn Oakleigh; New
York actor Bill Bush as Whitney; New York actress Jen Goodson as Erma
and local actress Sarah Hubacher as Mrs. Harcourt.

=20

=20

Local Choreographer Janiece Kelly-Kitley will collaborate with Victoria
Bussert incorporating the '30s and '40s dance styles of Gene Kelly and
Fred Astaire into this production. To further enhance the aesthetics of
this musical, the ship will be "an art deco world that should remind
audiences of MGM Musical's," says Scenic Designer Michael Carnahan. The
two story set will reflect the grand bow of a ship yet plenty of room
for tap-dancing on the Carousel's 60foot proscenium stage. Resident
Costume Designer Dale DiBernardo will add colorful glitz and fun to the
period costumes. "Each character is in their own little world and the
costumes will reflect their stage of life and social standing," said
DiBernardo who will also add a touch of nautical to the outfits.
Lighting Designer Richard Lee Kennedy will add further dimension to the
show with spectacular light patterns.
