I have a friend who's getting ready to link up with SoundScan and a local record label to push a new musical project that has been in development for the lasr 6 months or so. He now needs a new female rap artist/poet to feature on one of the songs for the album, in order to meet his deadline. They are coming up to a final mix soon and decided last minute to remove the gentleman previously on the track for more 'updated' lyrics, style and female presence.

Hope this gets somebody out there (with the skills) some exposure and some $!

Warmest friendship,

Mitch Berlingeri (BERLIN-jerry)

PROJECT Vitals:

Contact: Shawn Skelton formerly of Dallas Tx (Top Of The Line Records)

Past project: In Texas known as 'Kamikazi' - sold over 10k copies in Dallas

Past History: dropped two albums together, second album local hit. Top Of The Line didn't have the money behind them to promote anything larger then regional, and indie label didn't have the know-how or legal access to seek a P&D deal. They were afraid of getting too big too fast?

Current Project: Everything is going as planned so far... I'm meeting with some guys from a record label in Columbus on Friday about signing up for venue sales with sound scan. I guess you have to have a label that has been in business for at least two years, and sound scan will only service more then one project. So... I'm going in half with this label to register my project and theirs together for venue sales. It will be nice to get sound scan credit for street and club sales. The album is coming together nicely... Now that the tracks are finished, I will be perfecting the vocals this week. Then we have a couple weeks for mixing and mastering. (still pushing a close deadline)

Projected Release: Aug 13th release date

Registered with BMI

If interested, please call:
(740) 802-1800
or email: SSkelton at OMIG.com ASAP!
