"Making a Lasting Impression: Auditioning for Musical Theatre Programs"

Led by Victoria Bussert: Professional Director
& Nancy Gantose-Maier: Professional Music Director

Ages 14 - Entering College Freshmen
Monday, August 2 6:00-9:00pm $75.00 (Limit 12)
Tuesday, August 3 6:00-9:00pm $75.00 (Limit 12)
If you come to both classes the cost will be $125.00

Ms. Bussert, known for her wonderfully successful musical productions, brings
a wealth of experience both as a director who has auditioned thousands of
actors, and as a well-respected teacher. For nine years she served as Director
of Musical Theatre at Baldwin-Wallace College, recognized as one of the top
musical theatre training programs in the country.

Each master class is designed to give students the skills to leave a lasting
impression on casting directors everywhere. The workshop will also prepare
you for auditioning for college musical theatre programs. The focus will be on
craft; on the aspects of acting in an audition that makes the role authentic
and interesting. We work on skills and presentation; how to prepare for an
audition, what to expect, audition do's and don'ts, demonstrations, and questions
and answers. Our goal is to give actors the knowledge and confidence that
will allow them to conquer their next audition. All students must come prepared
with two short songs.

The workshops will take place at the "Lake House" at Centerville Mills Camp,
8558 Crackel Rd., Bainbridge, Oh 44023
