Hope your weekend was nice and cool. Included in this email is a casting notice sent to me yesterday for an interesting "fast buck" project that any professional, who has the ability to speak spanish, can put on their resume.

Amerifilm Casting is seeking men and women of various Spanish origins for a video which will only air on monitors in a large banking establishment. Must speak fluent Spanish, must be available for an audition July 27th and available to shoot around August 3rd.
Wish list:
Man - age 40-45, Mexican.
Man -age 20-25, from Columbia, Venezuela or Spain.
Woman -age 25-35, Mexican.
Woman - age 40-50, from Cuba, the Caribbean, Puerto Rico or Dominican.
Talent will be filmed telling a (scripted) banking anecdote. Must be interesting, charming, and be honest, working class people. If you fit the specs, or come close, ONLY do one of the following two things:

The Cleveland Play House Appoints New Board Chairman Alan Rauss Begins
Term with the 2004-2005 Season
The Cleveland Play House Board of Directors unanimously elected Mr. Alan
Rauss as its Chairman at the organization's annual meeting held Wednesday,
July 21, 2004.
Rauss, a partner at Kohrman, Jackson & Krantz, P.L.L., will serve as the
organization's new Board Chair, serving until the organization's annual
meeting in 2005, or until a successor is elected.
Additionally, six new Directors were added to the Board's roster. Donna L.
Jackson; Newton S. Kimberly, Senior Vice President of Northern Trust;
Patrick Morin of P.J. Morin Inc.; Anthony M. Panzica, President of Panzica
Construction; Alga Schloss; and Dr. Herbert C. Smith, Chairman & CEO of
H.C. Smith, Limited, accepted their appointments to three-year terms,
ending in 2007.
In other business, outgoing Board President Robert G. Paul was appointed an
Honorary Director for Life and Beth Rankin was appointed the new Vice-Chair
of the Board.
The Board of Directors honored Shirley Oberlin as Volunteer of the Year. A
former "First Lady" of The Play House, Mrs. Oberlin was married to Richard
Oberlin, now deceased, who served as Artistic Director from 1971 to 1985.
Additional honors went to Josie Abady, Artistic Director from 1988 to 1993,
and the namesake of The Play House's Baxter Stage, Barbara Baxter, who were
posthumously inducted into The Play House Hall of Fame.
Approximately 75 people were in attendance for the meeting at The Cleveland
Play House Club.
