[NEohioPAL]Strongsville Teen Band DRYWATER Wins Round 1 of" KING OF THE MOUNTAIN "Rock Off" at THE ROSE in MEDINA

We completed round 1 of KING OF THE MOUNTAIN Rock off at THE ROSE in Medina
last night and the winner was Strongsville band DRYWATER. Round 2 will be on
Wednesday August 4ths from 7:30 to 10PM. The next contestant is CICADA from
Medina.

The format the competition takes is two bands play each show with the
audience deciding which band advances to "defend its title of KING OF THE
MOUNTAIN"

Bands are compensated on the basis of each group earns 25% of admissions
which are $5 per person.  The potential earnings are approximately $450 per
band per night depending on total number of admissions. Participants also
receive a CD of their performance.

Bands interested in participating should contact THE ROSE at
www.therosetheater.com  Bands from throughout the area are invited but the
majority of their members must be in High School or graduated in 2004.

There are only three remaining slots to fill. All styles of music are
welcome.
